Eerie Venetian Cripta...

During a visit to the Church of San Zaccharia on our recent visit to Venice, we were able to descend into the eerie depths of a partially submerged 'cripta' beneath the altar of the church. I took the following pictures capturing this strange place. I hope you enjoy.
